Eversendai Offshore loaded out of its first GustoMSC NG-2500X self propelled jack up also known as lift boat named ARYAN, the firm said.
“The loadout of ARYAN today marks an important milestone for Eversendai Offshore. It goes to prove that the business diversification plan that the company and Eversendai Group has taken is on the right path,” said Narish Nathan, CEO of Eversendai Offshore. “We are also pleased to note that the building of the liftboats in our Ras Al Khaimah fabrication yard has achieved commendable Health, Safety and Environment record with no injury down time. This was only possible with a well experienced team in Eversendai Offshore,” he added.
Eversendai Offshore, a subsidiary of Eversendai Group said it was awarded to build two liftboats by Vahana Offshore, an operator and service provider for offshore activities.
“We commissioned Eversendai Offshore to build these two liftboats due to their impressive fabrication yard in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE and the Eversendai Group’s reputation in delivering high-quality products,” said Tan Sri AK Nathan, group managing director of Vahana Holdings. “We are glad to be in a working partnership with the young, innovative and energetic team behind Eversendai Offshore.”
The liftboat ARYAN is targeted to be delivered to Vahana Offshore in the third quarter of 2017. Eversendai’s Nathan said that building these liftboats in their Ras Al Khaimah yard, has provided his company an excellent track record. “This is the maiden voyage into building the liftboats for us and we are particularly proud of it because we are the first organisation in the industry within the region to complete the full detailed design and engineering for liftboats. This accomplishment highlights our significance in innovating, excelling and sustaining in new frontiers,” he said.
