Tendeka appoints new CEO

Global oil and gas solutions provider Tendeka has appointed Brad Baker as its new chief executive officer as the independent company gears up for further growth.

Baker joins Tendeka after a 27-year career with Baker Hughes, most recently as Vice President of Stimulation and Production Enhancement.  He has held a number of global executive roles, where his responsibilities have included large legacy divisions and leading international operations, global product line management and engineering.

He has worked across key oil and gas regions including the US, Latin America, Caribbean, the UK and Far East and has extensive technical experience in the completions sector including sand control, completion fluids, intelligent wells, pressure pumping, stimulation,  fishing and wellbore intervention.

Headquartered in Aberdeen, UK, Tendeka has operations in Europe, Former Soviet Union & Sub-Saharan Africa; Middle East & North Africa; North & South America; Asia Pacific and China.

Baker, who is to be based at the company’s HQ in Westhill, Aberdeen, said:  “Tendeka’s vision, values and track record is impressive having achieved a number of technical and operational milestones in recent years.
